Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church Inc. is located in the historical Kennedy-King Neighborhood. Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church Inc. established purpose is to perform religious, educational, economical, and ecumenical services to the community. To provide teaching of Jesus Christ and to provide the spiritual basis for moral growth in the lives of the persons serviced in said community. We have been in the community for 60 years. Over the years we have served the neighborhood by providing free meals during breakfast and dinner hours, drug and alcohol counseling, and annual Health Fairs.  In partnership with Watkins Community Center, we have provided free meals during the Annual Thanksgiving holiday to more than 3,000 individuals within the community.  Over the years we’ve developed quite a reputation for not only being a religious haven, but also a strong community partner in times of need.
